The shallow springs were quiet....night swept over the land, swallowing the light to produce shadows, that flickered off the faint moonlight. By the springs a beautiful fae stood. Her presence seemed to emit an aura...that of a northern light. The magnificent light danced willingly above her, in a watercolour smear of delicate blues and pinks. Her eyes illuminated at a bed of flowers. Her best features, blue opticals, flickered when she moved. She arched her head for a drink. Aurora was lonely, and relatively new to the land. She was not in search of a mate...and possibly not even a home. Her only comfort was her shadow, that already seemed to dwindle...

Aurora drew back at first, blinking at him. The light had vanished, leaving her alone with this mysterious stag. "Hello..." she replied. She returned to him a slight bow, her white tassel falling from her face as she did. She watched him intently.

Aurora watched him daintily from afar. Her whipcord made only the slighest noise... "May I ask of your dubbance?" Aurora questioned, hoping that stag would reply.

Aurora managed a smile. She studied his posture. "That's a very fine dubbance, for a kind and handsome stag like you?" she gazed at him affectionately.

Aurora smiled and looked towards the sky. She briefly watched the stag's eyes, before warding off her glance.

She gave the stag another soft glance. "I am very infatuated by the sky...I have always wondered all my life what is beyond those stars," she replied with confidence. Her blue eyes turned to Evening Dancer. "Do you own a herd or belong to one?" she asked.

She gave him an assuring smile. "That's okay, I do not care if a stag owns a terra or not...I do not care of rank either."
